Peter Termyn Appointed President & CEO for
Parkinson Technologies Inc.
January 3, 2007
Woonsocket, RI - USA
After leading the company's commercial efforts for two years, Peter Termyn has been appointed President and CEO of Parkinson Technologies. Through his direction, the company's commercial organization and supporting capabilities have been restructured to fully leverage the company's growth potential.
Termyn's expertise includes over twenty years of business development, technical sales, marketing and business unit management with engineered products and materials. He has held previous roles with industry leaders, including Dresser Industries, ITT Corporation, BOC Group and Tyco International. He holds an MBA and dual engineering degrees from the University of Michigan.
Termyn replaces Ernest Abrahamson, who continues as Parkinson's owner and who will now serve as Chairman. Abrahamson credits Termyn with the management and commercial background to capitalize on the company's investments in research, technology and facilities and the leadership experience to guide the company going forward.
