Parkinson Technologies' New Representative

Parkinson Technologies and its division, Marshall and Williams Plastics, announce the appointment of Grupo Janfrex S.A., DE C.V. as its representative covering the Mexican market. Parkinson is a manufacturer of web-handling equipment, including winders. Its Marshall and Williams Plastics division is the world's leader in biax orientation equipment for BOPS along with other plastic materials requiring orientation. Jesus Avelar, Director General of Grupo Janfrex says, "Janfrex is pleased to work with Parkinson and Marshall and Williams Plastics", and believes there is excellent potential for these products in the Mexican market. Janfrex represents many leading manufacturers of equipment for the plastics industry, including Davis Standard, Brown Machine and Cumberland.

This past spring Parkinson Technologies acquired Marshall and Williams Plastics. The facility in Rhode Island houses Parkinson Technologies Inc., maker of world class winding and web-handling machinery; its affiliate company Key Filters, Inc., a leading maker of melt filtration equipment; and now Marshall and Williams Plastics, specializing in extrusion and orientation machinery for plastics.
