Dusenbery Worldwide Receives Funding From Thorson LLC

Effective March 27, 2008, THORSON LLC, a company whose principals own Parkinson Technologies Inc. and Key Filters Inc., provided funding for working capital and other uses through a secured lender agreement to the John Dusenbery Company, Inc., located in Randolph, New Jersey. The company goes to market under the Dusenbery Worldwide name.
For over six decades, Dusenbery has designed and manufactured a full range of high quality slitter/rewinders for the converting industry. Dusenbery specializes in machines which unwind, slit, and rewind large rolls of material, making them suitable for further processing or consumer use. Process speed are as high as 3,000 feet per minute. Major companies worldwide have come to depend on Dusenbery technology to achieve high precision, tension-controlled slitting/rewinding for a wide variety of jobs.
Parkinson Technologies and Dusenbery product lines are complementary and together they offer a wide range of upstream primary processing and downstream converting technologies for the continuous web-processing industry. Parkinson, located in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, is a recognized leader in the design, manufacture and application of large-scale winding, web-handling and specialty plastics processing machinery. Key Filters, also located in Woonsocket, is a leading designer and manufacturer of screen changers for plastic extrusion applications.
