Parkinson Technologies Receives Order From Chinese JV for Highest Output BOPS Line in Asia
Over 20,000 metric tons/year output; approximately twice the output of highest production BOPS line currently in China

BREAKING NEWS (Dusseldorf, Germany – October 24, 2007) . . . Parkinson Technologies has received an order for a turnkey Marshall and Williams BOPS production system from NingBo Brilliance Plastic Film Pty., Ltd., a joint venture company established by diversified manufacturers China LAMO Group and Zhejiang Cixi ShuangFu Group, both headquartered in China’s Cixi City, NingBo industrial trade area. The high output BOPS line is designed to produce the highest quality Biaxially Oriented Polystyrene sheet and it will be the largest line of its kind in Asia. The investor group has secured government real estate and machinery import approvals and the factory will be strategically located in a modern industrial park in NingBo, adjacent to the 36 km Hangzhou Bay Bridge currently under construction. The parties have signed the project contract and a formal project ceremony is scheduled in NingBo for early November, 2007. Production startup is scheduled for early 2009.
The next generation Marshall and Williams system will include the newest features designed to deliver precise process control, optimal operating efficiency and high-output performance over a broad range of product thickness. With its equipment producing over fifty percent of the world’s BOPS sheet and film, Parkinson’s Marshall & Williams brand was selected based on its industry-leading technology for high-output production equipment that yields the world’s highest quality BOPS products.
